This lovely porcelain hand pendant hangs on a golden stainless steel paper clip toggle chain. The sculpted hand has gold lustre nails and the necklace will be a lovely gift for a craft worker, palm reader or someone who likes trending accessories.
I modelled a hand in wax, and from it, made a mould which was used to cast two parts.
The porcelain pieces were carefully joined and hand finished.
Finger nails were glazed and then the hand was fired for the first time in my kiln.
24 karat gold lustre was applied to the finger nails and the hand was fired for a second time.
Ceramic porcelain hand 5 x 3 cm approx.
